Illustration services

Not every illustration commission is a book. Studios come to us for campaign artwork, packaging, editorial spots, app assets and internal publications, usually when they need more images than one freelancer can deliver on time.

What this service covers

This is our general illustration offer: a team producing commissioned artwork across styles and media, briefed once and delivered as a consistent set rather than a collection of loosely related images.

Volume work is where a studio earns its place. Forty illustrations from one freelancer take four months; from a coordinated team working to an approved style sheet, they take weeks and still look like one hand.

Included in every project

Anything outside this list is quoted separately rather than assumed.

Editorial illustration

Article and cover artwork for magazines, journals and internal publications.

Campaign and advertising art

Key visuals adapted across formats from a single master illustration.

Packaging illustration

Artwork built to dieline, with print finishes and material in mind.

Digital and UI artwork

Spot illustration, empty states and icon sets supplied as scalable vectors.

Series and sets

Large batches produced to an approved style sheet so the set stays coherent.

Style development

A defined illustration language documented for your team to brief against later.

Why clients commission this work

Volume without drift

Approved style sheets keep a large set consistent across several illustrators.

Format-ready output

Artwork supplied in the sizes and file types your channels actually use.

A documented style

Something your team can brief from next time, in-house or out.

Predictable batches

Work arrives in scheduled groups rather than all at the deadline.

From brief to final files

Each stage has a clear approval point, so nothing large gets built on an assumption.

  1. Brief and volume

We scope how many images, in what styles, and to what deadline.

  2. Style sample

One or two finished pieces approved as the reference for everything that follows.

  3. Batch production

Artwork produced and reviewed in batches, with feedback applied across the set.

  4. Delivery

Final files in the formats you need, plus sources and a short usage note.

Before you brief us

Anything not answered here, ask directly and you will get a straight answer.

Ask a question

Usually yes, with an approved style sample first. Volume work depends on locking the style early; once that is signed off, production can run across several illustrators in parallel.

Both, chosen to suit the use. Anything that must scale — icons, packaging, signage — is built as vector. Painterly editorial work is raster at print resolution.

Yes. Send the guide and any prior artwork; we work inside it. If the guide has gaps, we will flag them rather than improvise silently.

For ongoing volume, yes. An agreed monthly allocation is usually cheaper and faster than briefing each piece separately.
